What topics can I ask about here?

Anything code! On the Codozzle forum, you’re encouraged to ask questions related to Java, Dot Net, Python, Data Engineering, or any computer technology-related topics.

What types of questions should I avoid asking?

Well, anything that’s not directly or indirectly relating to code. That includes questions related to other core technology like Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil engineering. Stick to the wide and wonderful world of code and you’ll see there’s much to discuss and learn.

What if I disagree with the closure of a question? How can I reopen it?

Simple! If you’re not satisfied with the answer, just reply to it and we’ll be happy to clarify all your doubts.

I see a message saying “your question does not meet standards”. Why?

You see, we have some specific standards that govern the Codozzle forum. If you want to find out more, do read through our Standards and Policies!

Why do I see a message that my question is duplicated?

This is because there is a similar question on the forum already, that matches your question quite closely. You can find that previous question if you scroll below, and read the answers there. If you feel that your question is significantly different, ignore the duplication message and continue with posting it on the forum!

Why are questions no longer being accepted from my account?

The main reason for not accepting questions is that you haven’t completely filled in all the necessary details on your profile.
If you have completed your profile, then you might have (knowingly or unknowingly) violated the standards of the forum. If that’s the case, your profile will be temporarily barred for a few days! We’ve sent you an email about this, so do check your mail for further details.
We’re sorry to inform you that in case a policy violation happens more than a few times, your Codozzle profile will be permanently barred.

Why are some questions marked as duplicate?

Questions that need additional work or that are not a good fit for this site may be put on hold by experienced community members. While questions are on hold, they cannot be answered, but can be edited to make them eligible for reopening.

How can I recover my permanently barred profile?

If this happens, you’ll have to mail our Support Team, state the issue, and acknowledge that you have read the standards and policies of Codozzle and won’t violate them again. It might take 2-3 business days for your profile to become active again so be patient!

Why is the system asking me to wait a day before asking another question?

Users are restricted from asking a large number of questions within a specific interval of
Time so that we can avoid spam.

What should I do when someone answers my question?

If you are satisfied with the answer, thank them! If you want to ask a follow-up question, you can reply to them and keep the conversation going. It’s up to you - network, chat, interact, grow!
